The Everyday D-Ring Cobra40 offers protection, safety, and comfort at all times, even under extreme conditions. Whether on long deployments or during an active daily routine—this collar stands for absolute reliability. With a width of 40 mm (1.5 inches), it is the ideal choice when maximum freedom of movement is required alongside stable pressure distribution.
The functional core is formed by the original AustriAlpin COBRA® PRO STYLE D-Ring buckle. The stainless steel D-ring, integrated directly into the buckle mechanism, prevents distracting rattling during operations. With 18 kN at the buckle and 22 kN at the D-ring, the hardware components offer extreme safety margins you can rely on in any emergency. A webbing layer underneath the buckle protects the dog's neck from direct metal contact.
The collar is optionally available without a handle, with a standard handle, or with a self-closing magnetic handle. Available in Black, Wolf Gray, Coyote Brown, Olive Drab, MultiCam Black, and MultiCam Original.
The black coating on the D-ring of the All Black buckle will wear off at the contact surfaces over time—its mechanical function remains fully intact. If this patina is not preferred, please choose the variant with the uncoated stainless steel D-ring.
COBRA® PRO STYLE D-RING Closure
This high-strength aluminum buckle features a patented locking mechanism that physically prevents accidental opening under tension. Releasing the connection is only possible when completely depressurized by simultaneously pressing both clips. The integrated stainless steel D-ring provides maximum breaking loads for the most demanding K9 deployment conditions.

Enables rapid and secure restraint of the dog in confusing situations or tight spaces. Made of Mil-Spec webbing for long-lasting durability. The inside is lined with softshell padding—comfortable in the hand, enabling safe and precise guidance without sacrificing comfort.
UPGRADE: Self-Closing Handle
The high-end option for off-leash work and dog sports. Thanks to embedded magnets, the handle automatically lays flat against the body of the collar when not in use. This minimizes the risk of the dog catching on undergrowth or obstacles, while the handle remains instantly ready for use when needed.
UPGRADE: Patch Area
A color-matched loop field runs along the exterior of the collar to accommodate identification tags, duty IDs, or custom name patches. (Please note: On smaller neck sizes, the usable patch area is production-wise reduced if a handle option is selected additionally).
