The Everyday GT50 is the right choice for handlers looking to avoid unnecessary weight while still demanding the superior pressure distribution and aesthetic of a wide collar. The Everyday GT50 is intentionally trimmed for lightness, making it perfectly suited for daily life, training, and patrol duties.
Weight-Optimized Strength
The integrated original GT COBRA® buckle by AustriAlpin is the first polymer buckle to achieve a breaking strength of 500 lbs (220 kg) completely without metal components. The field-tested locking mechanism reliably prevents accidental opening under load – unintentional release when grabbing the collar is impossible.
Uncompromising Foundation
Despite its low weight, the GT50 remains an extremely robust tool. Manufactured from two layers of precisely stitched Mil-Spec webbing, it delivers the stability expected from TYRAS. The matte black steel D-ring weighs a mere 23 grams, yet offers ample reserves for daily use with a breaking strength of 300 kg.
Ergonomics & Functionality
Continuous adjustability guarantees an exact fit. A thoughtfully engineered webbing layer beneath the buckle not only makes fastening easier, but reliably protects your dog's sensitive neck area from friction and irritation caused by the hardware.
Optional Upgrades
The Everyday GT50 adapts flexibly to your requirements. Whether a patch panel for ID or duty designations, or the optional handle configuration: from size G1, you can choose the standard handle (implemented as a compact three-finger grip for G1), and from size G2, the flat-fitting magnetic handle is also available.
Important Selection Note
We recommend the Everyday GT50 for dogs weighing a maximum of 45 kilograms. For dogs that pull extremely hard on the leash, exhibit pronounced reactivity, or are intensively trained in protection sports, we generally advise you for safety reasons to choose our models featuring the aluminum COBRA® PRO STYLE buckle.

It reliably prevents accidental opening, as the patented locking mechanism can only be released when completely unweighted and by pressing both clips simultaneously.

The matte black D-ring is tailored to the weight-optimized balance of the Everyday GT50. Manufactured from high-quality steel, it is lightweight yet resilient against deformation. It offers a reliable and secure solution for daily use.
UPGRADE: Standard Handle
The handle provides immediate and precise control during direct guidance, protection work, or in confusing situations. Manufactured from Mil-Spec webbing for high durability. The inside features softshell padding – comfortable in the hand, it enables secure and precise handling without sacrificing comfort. (Note: Designed as a compact three-finger grip for size G1 to save space).
UPGRADE: Self-Closing Magnetic Handle
Our innovative magnetic handles are engineered to lie completely flat against the collar when not in use. This virtually eliminates the risk of the dog snagging in underbrush or on obstacles. When needed, the handle remains slightly tensioned, making it instantly accessible and ready for use at any time. (Available from size G2).
UPGRADE: Patch Area
The color-matched loop panel runs along the outside, allowing for the quick attachment of name patches, duty IDs, or warning tags. (Please note: For small neck sizes, the usable loop area is production-wise reduced if a handle option is additionally selected).
