The Operator Leash is built for moments when compromise is not an option. This leash is extreme through and through: Developed for very large, heavy, and high-drive dogs, it combines maximum mass with absolute breaking strength.

Crafted from two stitched layers of Mil-Spec tubular webbing, this leash is unique in its massive build. Due to its thickness, the Operator Leash sits exceptionally solid in your hand – next to it, any other duty leash feels like a piece of string!

Configurable with standard stainless steel snap hooks or high-strength KONG components (FROG, FROG 360, or TANGO). An optional integrated steel ring in the handle allows fast attachment to a duty belt or snap shackle.

Available in Black, Coyote Brown, and Olive Drab.

Our guarantee applies to all TYRAS products, except third-party brands, consumable parts, bite-work equipment, and toys.
Deliberate destruction, theft, or lost gear are not covered. If a tank rolls over your gear, you tow your car with a leash, or your gear simply disappears – that’s not a warranty case.
Chewed leashes count as deliberate damage – though we can often repair them.
Normal wear and tear (like coating abrasion on black hardware after heavy use) is not considered a defect.
Fair service and repair options, even after years, are a matter of course for us.

MASSIVE CARABINERS

Stainless Steel Bolt Snap (Standard)
The 12 cm long stainless steel carabiner with a breaking load of 450 kg guarantees maximum strength under all conditions.

Brass Bolt Snap
Extremely resistant to corrosion and frost. With a breaking load of 280 kg, it is ideal for medium to heavy dogs (for dogs over 50 kg, stainless steel or KONG is recommended). Develops a natural patina over time.

UPGRADE: KONG FROG

The KONG FROG completely eliminates the risk of accidental opening. The patented clamp mechanism closes automatically upon contact with the D-ring and can only be opened by pressing both side triggers simultaneously. Ideal for professional applications where absolute reliability is required.

UPGRADE: KONG FROG 360

Combines the patented safety mechanism of the KONG FROG with an integrated 360° swivel. Reliably prevents the leash from twisting and ensures maximum freedom of movement during dynamic directional changes.

UPGRADE: KONG TANGO

Maximum breaking load for extreme demands. The KONG TANGO features an automatic safety catch that can be operated with one hand while remaining fully locked under tension. The primary choice for heavy working dogs and maximum safety reserves.

UPGRADE: HANDLE RING

The heavy-duty, stitched 38 mm steel ring in the handle allows for quick attachment of the short leash to duty belts or snap shackles.
