The Everyday D-Ring Cobra50 is an extremely rugged and durable working collar designed for training, daily wear, and demanding deployment. A width of 50 mm (2 inches) ensures a clean, low-profile look and a stable fit on the neck.
At the core of the collar is the AustriAlpin COBRA® PRO STYLE D-Ring buckle with an integrated stainless steel D-ring. The hardware is rated for 22 kN at the D-ring and 18 kN at the buckle—heavy-duty reserves you can rely on at any time. The 50 mm wide Mil-Spec webbing guarantees a broad surface area that distributes pressure evenly and reduces localized strain on the neck. An extra webbing extension underneath the buckle prevents direct metal-to-skin contact.
The collar is optionally available with a standard handle or a self-closing magnetic handle. The magnetic handle lays flat against the collar and remains quickly accessible whenever needed. The Everyday D-Ring Cobra50 is available in Black, Coyote Brown, Olive Drab, MultiCam Black, and MultiCam Original.
The black coating on the D-ring of all black buckle will wear off at the contact surfaces over time—its mechanical function remains fully intact. If you do not prefer this patina, choose the variant with the uncoated stainless steel D-ring.
COBRA® PRO STYLE D-RING Buckle
The COBRA® PRO STYLE D-RING buckle is the strongest aluminum buckle in its category. It features a patented locking mechanism: opening is only possible when completely depressurized and by pressing both clips simultaneously—accidental opening is impossible. The firmly integrated stainless steel D-ring has a breaking strength of 22 kN, offering maximum safety margins for demanding environments. Ideal for K9 gear focused on reliability and safety.
UPGRADE: Handle
The handle gives extra control over the dog at traffic lights, in crowds, or in tight situations. Made of Mil-Spec webbing for long-lasting durability. The inside is lined with softshell padding—comfortable in the hand, enabling safe and precise guidance without sacrificing comfort.
UPGRADE: Self-Closing Handle
The magnetic handle closes automatically when not in use and sits flat against the collar. This reduces the risk of the dog accidentally getting caught on obstacles. When needed, the handle is instantly ready to grab for rapid control in high-stress situations.
UPGRADE: Patch Area
The generous loop field, color-matched to the collar, runs along the entire exterior and provides space for custom name tags and ID patches. (Please note: Especially on smaller sizes, the available area becomes relatively small if a handle is selected as well.)
