The Operator Wave Leash is a tough, no-nonsense lead built for professional K9 handlers who need control, grip, and durability in the field. The lightly waved polyamide webbing gives you a secure hold without feeling too soft or too stiff, making it reliable in demanding daily use.

The 18 cm handle loop is glove-friendly and built for fast, precise handling when it matters most. With a 2.1 mm material thickness and a minimum breaking strength of 16.7 kN, this leash is made to handle serious work.

The textured surface improves grip and control during training, service work, and outdoor operations.

Available in Navy Blue, Black, Olive, and Coyote, and in different lengths, the Operator Wave Leash is built for handlers who expect performance, quality, and a clean tactical look.

Our guarantee applies to all TYRAS products, except third-party brands, consumable parts, bite-work equipment, and toys.
Deliberate destruction, theft, or lost gear are not covered. If a tank rolls over your gear, you tow your car with a leash, or your gear simply disappears – that’s not a warranty case.
Chewed leashes count as deliberate damage – though we can often repair them.
Normal wear and tear (like coating abrasion on black hardware after heavy use) is not considered a defect.
Fair service and repair options, even after years, are a matter of course for us.

HEAVY-DUTY CARABINER

The 12 cm stainless steel bolt snap is our beast and standard hook for Operator Leashes. Built for professional K9 duty, it delivers 450 kg breaking strength and stands up to years of hard use.

The brass bolt snap is resistant to frost, wind, and salt. With 250 kg breaking strength, it offers enough reserve for large and heavy service dogs. Natural darkening is a normal material property of brass.

UPGRADE: KONG FROG

For maximum security, upgrade your leash with the KONG FROG NUDE STRONG. This reinforced version of the well-known unidirectional connector is built for K9 duty. The wide slot keeps the webbing running clean and reduces compression and friction points. The patented dual-release mechanism helps prevent accidental opening. The FROG NUDE STRONG is not PPE, not certified, and not intended to bear human loads.

UPGRADE: KONG FROG 360

The KONG FROG 360 combines proven function with a clean, tactical look. The integrated heavy-duty swivel reduces leash twist and tangling, keeping the line controlled and moving freely even in dynamic K9 duty.

UPGRADE: KONG TANGO

The KONG TANGO carabiner stands for stability and control in use. Forged aluminum delivers high strength, while the one-handed operation allows fast and secure handling. It is the right choice for large dogs and demanding situations.

LARGE HAND LOOP

At 18 cm long, the handle loop is comfortable to use even with gloves. This keeps the leash secure and easy to handle, even in cold conditions or when additional protective gear is required.

The 38 mm ring upgrade in the handle loop makes the Operator Wave Leash even more versatile. It allows quick attachment to an duty belt or a snap shackle. Made from high-strength steel, the ring delivers stability and long-lasting durability.
