The Everyday Cobra50 is reduced to the essentials: uncompromising stability, maximum reliability, and a clean look for the demanding work and training routine. Featuring a width of 50 mm (2 inches), this collar ensures a broad surface area on the dog's neck, which distributes pulling pressure optimally and drastically reduces localized strain on the trachea.

The core of the collar is the original AustriAlpin COBRA® PRO STYLE buckle made of high-strength aluminum and the drop-forged V-ring. With a breaking strength of $9\,\text{kN}$ ( $18\,\text{kN}$ in loop configuration) at the buckle and over $11\,\text{kN}$ at the V-ring, this collar offers maximum safety margins you can fully rely on in any situation. A webbing layer underneath the buckle reliably prevents direct metal contact with the dog's skin.

The collar is modularly configurable: Choose between a minimalist version without a handle, a variant with a padded standard handle for direct guidance, or the innovative, self-closing magnetic handle that lays flat when not in use.

Available in Black, Wolf Gray, Coyote Brown, Olive Drab, MultiCam Black, and MultiCam Original.

The fine print, clearly stated:

Our guarantee applies to all TYRAS products, except third-party brands, consumable parts, bite-work equipment, and toys.
Deliberate destruction, theft, or lost gear are not covered. If a tank rolls over your gear, you tow your car with a leash, or your gear simply disappears – that’s not a warranty case.
Chewed leashes count as deliberate damage – though we can often repair them.
Normal wear and tear (like coating abrasion on black hardware after heavy use) is not considered a defect.
Fair service and repair options, even after years, are a matter of course for us.

COBRA® PRO STYLE BUCKLE

The COBRA® PRO STYLE is the world's strongest and most reliable safety buckle made of high-strength aluminum. Thanks to its patented locking mechanism, opening under load is physically impossible. The special mud release slot on the back ensures that dust, sand, ice, and snow do not affect its functionality – for maximum operational safety under all environmental conditions.

FORGED V-RING

The drop-forged V-ring made of alloy steel is characterized by extreme tensile strength (11.1 kN) and absolute distortion resistance. This ring is standard in military parachute and drop gear. Its extreme reliability and wide opening allow for a blind, quick, and secure attachment of the carabiner even under high stress.

UPGRADE: Handle

The handle provides immediate and precise control during close guidance, protection work, or in confusing situations. Made of Mil-Spec webbing for long-lasting durability. The inside is lined with softshell padding—comfortable in the hand, enabling safe and precise guidance without sacrificing comfort.

UPGRADE: Self-Closing Handle

The magnetic handle closes automatically when not in use and sits flat against the collar. This reduces the risk of the dog accidentally getting caught on obstacles. When needed, the handle is instantly ready to grab for rapid control in high-stress situations.

UPGRADE: Patch Area

A color-matched loop field runs along the entire outside of the collar, allowing for quick attachment of name patches, duty IDs, or warning signs. (Please note: For small neck sizes, the usable patch area is reduced due to production limits if a handle option is also selected).
